Contact Lenses
Contact lenses are a convenient and comfortable way to see clearly without glasses. During a contact lens exam, your eye doctor ensures your lenses fit properly, your prescription is accurate, and your eyes stay healthy. We offer a variety of soft contact lenses to meet different vision needs:
Spherical lenses for nearsightedness or farsightedness
Toric lenses for astigmatism
Multifocal lenses for presbyopia (age-related difficulty seeing up close)
For younger patients, we can fit children as young as 5 years old, and in some special cases, even infants may need contact lenses—such as babies born without a natural lens—to help their retina develop properly.
Specialty Contact Lenses: GP, Duette & Scleral Lenses
Some eyes require more customized solutions. Specialty contact lenses are designed for patients who may not see well or feel comfortable in regular soft lenses. They are often used for conditions such as irregular corneas, keratoconus, dry eye, or eyes that have had surgery.
GP (gas permeable) lenses provide sharp, clear vision and are custom made for your eyes
Duette lenses combine the clarity of a GP lens with the comfort of a soft lens
Scleral lenses vault over the cornea, offering excellent vision and comfort, especially for dry or sensitive eyes
Specialty lenses are carefully fitted and personalized to each patient, helping many achieve clearer, more comfortable vision when standard lenses aren’t enough.
Lens Education & Care
We want every patient to feel confident wearing their lenses. During your fitting appointment, we will teach you how to insert, remove, and properly care for your contact lenses. This ensures comfort, safety, and healthy eyes.
Appointment process:
Comprehensive eye exam first to check eye health and determine your prescription
Separate contact lens fitting to select the best lenses and provide hands-on instruction
Our team is here to support patients of all ages—from children to adults—so everyone can enjoy clear, comfortable vision with contacts.
